About The Event
Our Equine Science course offers a comprehensive study of horses, focusing on their biology, behavior, nutrition, and overall management. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of equine anatomy, health, and wellness, while exploring topics such as equine therapy, horse care, and behavior. Practical experience is integrated into the curriculum, providing hands-on opportunities in feeding, first aid, and therapeutic practices. No previous knowledge required. Open to the general public.
Details
The Equine Science course will run consecutively for 6 weeks beginning on February 1st, 2025. Enrollment is capped at 10 participants and will open again upon completion of the six weeks. Completion of this course is required prior to enrollment in the equine therapy certification.
